Für Annullationen/Umbuchungen werden Ihnen CHF 60.00 pro Buchung als Bearbeitungsgebühr berechnet. Bei Annullationen später als 7 Tage vor Ankunft wird eine Annullationspauschale von 50% der Buchung berechnet, bei Annullationen später als 5 Tage vor Ankunft oder bei einer vorzeitigen Abreise berechnen wir Ihnen den vereinbarten Zimmerpreis zu 100% für die Dauer bzw. We stayed two nights. The room was fantastic and the bed was excellent for recharging. Very quiet. The best part was Lori's hospitality—warm, genuine, and incredibly friendly. We'll be back!

We were really taken care of at hotel derby, specifically by Jung (sp?), the guy who also owns the coffee shop, Spatz, which i highly recommend going to. This man was a hero and helped us with numerous issues we had coming from the states. Thank you for helping us with our train tickets we accidentally tossed, with storing our lost luggage, and giving us a ride to the bus station!

The family room we stayed in was quite nice in terms of size. The breakfast was adequate, and the cleanliness was good despite minor shortcomings. The check-in system is actually a good system when everything goes smoothly. However, the problem of not being able to open the door due to our early arrival necessitated communication by phone. If your English is not at a sufficient level, communicating by phone is always difficult. Our point of contact in case of any problems was not at the hotel, so it's important to be aware of this beforehand.

A delightful two-day stay. The location, the friendly service from the owner and staff, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness, the value for money, the included breakfast, and the little garden cottage available for preparing your own meals on departure... I would definitely return. If you're visiting the area, which is full of activities, it's a fantastic place to stay.

Hotel is less than a 5-10 minute walk from either West/East train station. A hidden gem! Very nice room, comfortable bed-pillows WITH AC! Good bathroom -shower and lovely backyard garden to relax in. Gracious and friendly owners-reception staff made for a very pleasant two night stay

We spent 5 nights at this hotel while exploring all the attractions around Interlaken and the Alps. We enjoyed our interactions with Romona and the two ladies who serviced the complimentary breakfast. The hotel location was excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to the train station for up the mountain exploring. The room was comfortable but could use some basic art work to make them more interesting and the pillows were poor. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The small restaurant next door is excellent. The lack of front desk staffing could be troubling if you have any service issues but worked fine for us.

PS-the cat, Daisy, is a joy and very sweet. Any reviewer that says otherwise is just wrong.

My sister and I stayed here for two nights this past week and had a wonderful experience!! The hotel is conveniently located (only 9 minute walk to interlaken west station and 19 minutes from interlaken ost) and has a stunning view of the mountains. It’s also away from the noise of the city so all you hear when you open your windows are birds chirping. The room was clean and the breakfast was lovely. There is not always people at concierge but there’s a number to call if you need anything. The highlight of this spot though is the kindness of the staff (who let us leave our luggage all day after we checked our) and the sweetest cat named Daisy who hangs out in the hotel and is sooo social and sweet. I went paragliding one day and was so nervous (was visibly shaking) and sweet Daisy came and sat with me to comfort me. 10/10 recommend this spot!!

A very pleasant stay at Hotel Derby in Interlaken

From the very beginning, the service was impeccable and the staff were always attentive, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests’ well-being, and that makes all the difference.

The location is perfect for exploring Interlaken and the surrounding area, and the atmosphere in the hotel is cozy and peaceful. The only small downside I found were the pillows, which felt a bit uncomfortable at first — but once you get used to them, they’re actually quite fine.

All in all, a highly recommended place to stay if you're visiting Interlaken. I’d definitely come back.

By the way, we were left wondering what the cat’s name is — could you tell us?

We would definitely recommend the Hotel Derby, the hotel is ideally located for exploring Interlaken and the area is very quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, we immediately felt welcome. The breakfast buffet is generous and sufficient and we were even provided with a gluten-free breakfast, which made us very happy. Everything went well both at check-in and check-out. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a star deduction for the somewhat uncomfortable beds and blankets - but that is a matter of taste. We would still come back.

This was a lovely boutique hotel run by a very friendly family. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was enough, and the service was top-notch. Would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Interlaken!

Late post but I will highly recommend this lovely sweet cosy hotel to stay in interlaken. Ramona and her team makes sure that it functions smoothly. Best location as a walking 10 mins distance to major places and both stations..OST nd west.

Extremely comfortable hotel! Highly recommend. They also have a small garden and a remote kitchen you can heat up your food and boil hot water if you packed food for yourself ❤️❤️ we also saw the hotel cat, she’s super nice and she responds to “ma ah” the cat calling technique 😆 staff are amazing sweet and nice. There is breakfast from 7AM to 10AM. Great selection. Also huge perk is the air conditioner rooms, you know in Europe it is very hard to find AC rooms. Very worth it !! All women business, ran extremely smooth! This is truly a perfect stay!
